Itinerary
Our 8-Day Tour from Marrakech to the Atlas and Desert is carefully planned to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks and Berber villages to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is filled with adventure and discovery. Join us on this exciting journey through some of the most fascinating and beautiful parts of Morocco.
DAY 1 - Marrakech – Skoura Oasis (240 Km)
Reception at the airport and departure towards Ouarzazate. The road that crosses the High Atlas rises gently to the Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2260m above sea level. You meet villages and places of commercial exchanges witnessing typical scenes of life in the country. After crossing the pass you reach the Onila valley and the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a magnificent example of fortified architecture, typical of the region. After visiting the village, cross the city of Ouarzazate and continue to the lush oasis of Skoura where you can admire the sunset over the palm grove and the valley of the thousand Kasbhas.

DAY 2 - Oasi di Skoura – Boumalne Dades (130 Km Off-road + on-road)
Breakfast and departure. We travel in the valley of the thousand Kasbahs between villages and palm groves to reach the Boutaghrar track that winds through lunar scenarios. Continuing in a landscape that is never the same, you can admire the imaginative geological conformations that characterize the Dades valley. Once you reach the Dades gorges, go up along the hairpin bends that wind along the majestic rocky walls. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 - Boumalne Dades – Merzouga (250 Km)
Breakfast and departure. Crossing the large oasis of Tafilalet you reach the Todra Gorges, a great rift that divides the High Atlas from the Jebel Sarhro. After a walk you take the road again and, after passing Erfoud and Rissani, you arrive in Merzouga. Time at leisure to relax or stroll through the dunes at sunset.

DAY 4 - Merzouga (60km)
After breakfast visit the surroundings of Merzouga with stops at the village of Kamlia and Lake Dayet Srji. In the afternoon, return to the hotel to get ready and set off on a dromedary (about an hour and a half walk) towards the desert dunes. Crossing the golden sand landscape at sunset, you reach the tented camp located in Erg Chebbi. Dinner is served here under the starry sky. Dinner and overnight in the tented camp.
DAY 5 - Merzouga – Agdz (290 Km)
Wake up at dawn and, on the back of a dromedary (about an hour and a half of camel trekking), you return to the hotel for a shower and breakfast. Departure towards Agdz. Surrounded by hills and mountains with particular conformations, you pass the villages of Alnif and N’kob until you get to the largest palm grove in Morocco: the Draa valley. The landscape is lush and villages and kasbhas accompany the journey to Agdz.

DAY 6 - Agdz – Marrakech (270 Km)
Breakfast and departure for Marrakech. You travel on the west side of the Jbel Saghro through spectacular and wild landscapes up to the Tizi n’Tinififft pass and Ouarzazate. From here we take the road that, between ever-changing natural landscapes and places of commercial exchange, leads to the Marrakech region. Arrival in the city in the afternoon. Overnight in riad.
DAY 7 - Marrakech (visit)
After breakfast, appointment with the authorized guide to begin the half day visit of the imperial city known as the “red Marrakech” founded by the Almoravides at the end of the eleventh century. Discovering historic buildings, gardens and monuments, walking along streets and alleys and admiring the Koutoubia minaret you arrive at the famous Djemaa el Fna square from where, accompanied by music, dance and performances, you enter the lively and colorful souks. After taking leave of the guide, you can continue to explore the medina. Overnight in riad
DAY 8 - Marrakech (departure)
Breakfast and appointment with driver for transfer to Marrakech airport where it is necessary to arrive at least two hours before the flight departure time.
