Our 6-Day Cooking Tour Between Marrakech and Skoura Oasis is carefully planned to give you the best experience in Morocco. Each day offers a mix of hands-on cooking, cultural discovery, and beautiful landscapes. From learning traditional recipes to exploring local markets and historic sites, this tour is full of flavor, adventure, and unforgettable moments. Join us on this unique journey through two of Morocco’s most charming destinations. DAY 1 - Arrival at Marrakech Reception at the airport and transfer to the riad. Free day to visit the “red Marrakech” founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century. Discovering historic buildings, gardens and monuments, walking along streets and alleys passing through the beautiful Bab Agnaou and admiring the Koutoubia minaret you can get to the famous Djemaa el Fna square from where, accompanied by music, dance and performances, you can go to the bright and colorful souks. Overnight in riad. * DAY 2 - Marrakech – Oasis Skoura (240 km) Breakfast and departure towards Ouarzazate. The road that crosses the High Atlas rises gently to the Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2260m above sea level. You meet villages and places of commercial exchanges, witnessing typical scenes of life in the country. We enter the Onila valley and arrive at the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a magnificent example of fortified architecture, typical of the region. After visiting the village, cross the city of Ouarzazate and continue to the lush oasis of Skoura where you can admire the sunset over the palm grove and the valley of the thousand Kasbhas. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. DAY 3 - Oasis Skoura – between market, traditional oven, spices and tajine After breakfast I meet the cook to decide what to prepare. We go to the traditional market to follow the research and bargaining for the purchase of the ingredients and we reach a traditional oven to find out how the famous skoura bread is prepared. Once the supply is finished, the oasis is explored with its ouadis and its mud buildings hidden behind each curve. You reach the kasbah of Amerhidil within which you can admire, in addition to the architectural structure and environments that welcome everyday life, a collection of traditional objects. At the set time, you return to the hotel to reach the cook in the kitchen and start preparing what you have decided with her. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. DAY 4 - Around Oasis Skoura Breakfast and departure for a walk in the oasis accompanied by a local guide. Surrounded by palm trees, eucalyptus and oleanders, apple, almond and pomegranate trees, you can stroll through the oasis.
